PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup element and an imaging apparatus, preventing both flowing of electric charges in an optical black pixel region, in the pixel of effective pixel region, and disturbance of image caused by fluctuation of power supply or non-uniformity of circuit configuration, at the same time, by arranging a dummy pixel region. SOLUTION: An effective pixel region 30, an optical black pixel region 32, and a dummy pixel region 33 comprise a group of pixels where a plurality of pixels in column direction share a floating diffusion part respectively.
