<p>Provided is a multiband wireless communication system that exhibits a reduced amount of calculation required for a time frame synchronization process and hence exhibits a reduced time required for the time frame synchronization. The multiband wireless communication system is constituted by a base station apparatus and a terminal apparatus that use a plurality of discontinuous frequency bands to communicate with each other. The base station apparatus generates information of a timing difference between the time frame of a given frequency band and the time frame of another frequency band, and uses the given frequency band to transmit the information of the timing difference to the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus establishes a synchronization of time frame with the base station apparatus in the given frequency band, and further establishes, based on the information of the timing difference received from the base station apparatus, a synchronization of time frame with the base station apparatus in the other frequency band.</p> |
