<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a consumption time limit of an article that a customer has purchased by a simple device. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal includes: a measure means for measuring at least a date; an acquisition means for acquiring article names of articles purchased by one transaction and the time limit of a corresponding article; a storage means for accumulatively storing the article names of articles and the time limits of the respective articles that have been acquired by the acquisition means; a deletion means for comparing the time limit of the article which corresponds to the article accumulatively stored by the storage means with the date measured by the measure means, and for deleting information on the article detected as the lapse of the time limit of the article; a declaration deletion means for deleting the information on the article stored by the storage means according to the declaration of an operator; and a display means for displaying the article name and the time limit of the article stored by the storage means.
