<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric toothbrush for obtaining a reference value (a criterion value) to estimate brush pressure with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The electric toothbrush 1 having an acceleration sensor 15 includes: a brush; and a motor 10 for vibrating the brush. A CPU 120 has frequency detecting means for detecting the frequency in the brush. The frequency detecting means detects the frequency, based on the waveform of an output signal of the acceleration sensor 15.
