PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network AV reproduction apparatus which synchronizes network communication processing with AV reproduction processing to perform intermittent operations including the network communication processing. SOLUTION: An intermittent control part 17 notifies an AV server device 101 of downtime on the basis of information from a prediction part 16 of time which can be closed down, and after that, instructs a stop/rising processing part 15 to perform stop/rising processing of the whole network processing part 102. The network AV reproduction apparatus 100 is intermittently operated to reduce power consumption by performing a stop/rising operation by the intermittent control part 17 in cooperation with the AV server device 101.
