PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-needle sewing machine which prevents a tangle without taking a chore to thread the tube. SOLUTION: A needle bar case 5 is moved by a needle bar case transfer mechanism 16. A thread guide member 39 which has thread guide parts 46a-46j at a predetermined interval is prepared on the top edge of a support post 24 movably up and down. Two or more thread guide inlets 13a-13j for introducing a thread into the two or more needle bar sides respectively are prepared in the needle bar case 5. A vertical movement mechanism 49 moves the thread guide member 39 up and down so that the distance between the corresponding respective thread guide parts 46a-46j and the corresponding respective thread guide inlets 13a-13j is nearly constant at the time of movement of the thread guide inlets 13a-13j associated with the movement of the needle bar case 5.
