Disclosed are a method for feeding back channel information, a terminal and a base station thereof, and the method includes: reporting to the base station the channel information which does not carry the positions of optimal subbands, wherein the channel information which does not carry the positions of the optimal subbands includes the Channel Quality Information (CQI) of the wideband and the CQIs of the optimal subbands in each bandwidth part; reporting to the base station the channel information which carries the positions of the optimal subbands when meeting the reconfiguration condition, wherein the channel information which carries the positions of the optimal subbands includes the CQI of the wideband, the CQIs of the optimal subbands in each bandwidth part and the positions of the optimal subbands. The present invention is applicable for the terminal feeding back the channel information to the base station.
