PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To structure a door device of a sliding door type by which installation environment is not limited and good design is imparted while a protective panel can be opened and closed when needed, of which the protective panel is mounted along a skeleton on the rear side of the door of the device to structure a door case using the skeleton on the rear side of the door and the protective panel. SOLUTION: When the protective panel 10 is mounted to be slidable in the opening/closing direction of a door body 2, a plurality of second travelling rollers 11 are arranged on the upper end of the protective panel 10, and a second travelling rail 14 on which the second travelling rollers 11 movably travel is arranged on a cover body C. The indoor/outdoor directional gap formed between a suspension part of the door body 2 and the cover body C comprising primary and secondary cover bodies 12, 13 serves as a space S for the rail.
