PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select a coil element suitable for obtaining an image of high quality. SOLUTION: A rate P and a position G regarding a subject are stored in a database in association with a protocol in use. In the case of photographing the n-th subject, whether the rate P and position G associated with the same protocol as the protocol used in photographing the n-th subject is stored in the database is determined, and when the rate P and position G associated with the same protocol are stored, a region of a neck part is predicted based on the rate P and position G.
