PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pellet processor capable of improving the productivity of resin pellets by eliminating the need of regular cleaning and/or replacement of the member separating resin foreign substances from resin pellets. SOLUTION: When resin pellets and resin foreign substances fall down into an open hole 111 communicating vertically with a pellet passage member 110, foreign substance capturing members 120 and 130 are set in a foreign substance capturing mode, and falling resin foreign substances are entangled with foreign substance capturing sites 121 and 131, while resin pellets are allowed to pass through clearances AP. Then, the foreign substance capturing members 120 and 130 are switched from the foreign substance capturing mode to a foreign substance discarding mode, and the resin foreign substances entangled with the foreign substance capturing sites 121 and 131 are allowed to fall down.
