PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus capable of decreasing execution of stopping processing. SOLUTION: The printing apparatus 2 of a printing system 1 executes the stopping processing of printing after the printing is finished. The printing apparatus 2 includes: a data processing part 25 for determining whether inputted data are printing job data PJD or not in the middle of inputting the inputted data; and a printing processing part 26 for executing the next printing without executing the stopping processing of the printing, when the inputted data are determined to be the printing job data by the data processing part 25 before the printing is finished.
