DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CALIBRATING RECIPROCITY ERRORS

Disclosed is a method for calibrating reciprocity errors, which includes the following steps: measuring a downlink channel response H DL ; measuring an uplink channel response H UL ; on the basis of H DL and H UL , and according to a reciprocity model H DL =E -1 m H T UL E b , calculating, by means of a least-square criterion (LS) algorithm, either one of a user equipment reciprocity error E m or a base station reciprocity error E b ; then calculating the other one of E m or E b by means of a minimum mean square error criterion (MMSE) algorithm and according to the already-calculated E m or E b ; then performing a reciprocity error calibration operation using said calculated user equipment reciprocity error E m and said base station reciprocity error E b . Also disclosed is a reciprocity error calibration device for performing the reciprocity error calibration. The method and device for calibrating the reciprocity errors according to the present invention can provide better performance of reciprocity error calibration.
