The disclosed imaging device is provided with first and second imaging elements (10A, 10B), and an optical system which forms a first image which is in focus on an imaging surface of the first imaging element (10A) and a second image which is out of focus on an imaging surface of the second imaging element (10B). An image processing unit (220) processes signals acquired from the first and second imaging elements (10A, 10B), and generates a restored image wherein blurring due to hand shaking and being out of focus has been reduced, from the image acquired by the second imaging element (10B).
