PURPOSE: An automatic lid opening and closing system of the footwear mold is provided to prevent the manufacturing failure of the footwear by integrally molding the sole and uppers of leathers of the footwear. CONSTITUTION: An automatic lid opening and closing system of the footwear mold comprises a mold transfer rail(100) and a lid opening unit(200). The mold transfer rail comprises a lid unit(130), a lifting cylinder, and a gear guide unit. The lid opening unit comprises a rack gear and a pinion. The mold for the footwear enters the lid opening unit along the mold transfer rail. The lid unit of the mold for the footwear is open while the gear guide unit and pinion are engaged and are rotated to figure 180. When the lid unit enters the lid closing unit(210) along the mold transfer rail, the rack gear is moved up and down through the operation of the lifting cylinder and is engaged with the pinion. The lid unit of the mold for the footwear is automatically and rapidly shut.
