PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller leveler which, even if a number of straightening rolls can be pulled back from a pass line, suppresses variance in the axial direction of the straightening rolls, in vertical-direction gaps of straightening rolls when straightening a steel plate. SOLUTION: Pull-back mechanisms 29, 30 for pulling straightening rolls 5, 9 back from the pass line include fixed side uneven members 47, 51 having fixed side projecting parts 47a, 51a arrayed at a pitch P6, and movable side uneven members 48, 52 having movable side projecting parts 48a, 52a arrayed at the pitch P6. When the movable side uneven members 48, 52 are moved in the axial direction of the straightening rolls 5, 9 from a state in which fixed side abutting surfaces 47b, 51b are abutted on movable side abutting surfaces 48b, 52b, and the movable side projecting parts 48a, 52a are arranged between the fixed side projecting parts 47a, 51a, and the fixed side projecting parts 47a, 51a are arranged between the movable side projecting parts 48a, 52a, the straightening rolls 5, 9 are pulled back from the pass line.
