<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely connect product members to each other while simultaneously preventing damage of the product members. <P>SOLUTION: A pants-type diaper 1 includes: an external body 2 which is provided with a mutually separate front body 4 and back body 5, and a connecting sheet 6, wherein the front body 4 and back body 5 are joined together at the sides and connected together by the connecting sheet 6 extending in an anteroposterior direction in a crotch area; and an internal body 3 which is layered and fixed on the connecting sheet 6 inside the external body, and which includes an absorbent body. This method of manufacturing the pants-type diaper 1 comprises: conveying a front body web, or a continuous body of the front body, and a back body web, or a continuous body of the back body, along a conveyance direction at some space apart in the orthogonal direction; mounting the connecting sheet across the space to the front body web and the back body web at some interval apart in the conveyance direction to form the external body web, or the continuous body of the external body; cutting the external body web for forming hems which define leg holes; and mounting the internal body to the external body web. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
