<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white light-emitting device that is toned with high efficiency, and suitable to a lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: The white light-emitting device includes a first white light generation system which comprises an ultraviolet or violet LED chip and a phosphor and generates first white light, and a second white light generation system which comprises a blue LED chip and a phosphor, and generates second white light.
