<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-voltage battery charging system that is mounted inside the vehicle body of an electric vehicle to charge a high-voltage battery unit inside the vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: The high-voltage battery charging system has a rectifier circuit, a power factor correction circuit, and a non-insulating DC-DC converting circuit. The rectifier circuit is connected to a common terminal to rectify an AC input voltage to a rectified voltage. The power factor correction circuit is connected to the rectifier circuit and a bus to increase power factor and to generate a bus voltage. The non-insulating DC-DC converting circuit is connected to the power factor correction circuit and the high-voltage battery unit to charge the latter battery unit.
