<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat shield that does not cause electromagnetic interference with an on-vehicle communication device, keeps high transmittance for visible light, and has high shading performance. <P>SOLUTION: This heat shield includes at least a first light-reflective layer that is formed of one or more layers obtained by fixing a cholesteric liquid crystal phase and reflects at least one of a right polarization component and a left polarization component, and a second light-reflective layer formed of one or more layers containing an organic material and/or inorganic material. The heat shield has a reflectance peak both in a wavelength range of from 400 nm to less than 850 nm and in a wavelength range of from more than 850 nm to 1,300 nm and satisfies C>A>B. Here, A means the maximum reflectance in the wavelength range of from 400 nm to less than 850 nm; B means the reflectance at a wavelength of 850 nm; C means the maximum reflectance in the wavelength range of from more than 850 nm to 1,300 nm; and B is equal to or less than 50%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
