PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic coil capable of raising a space factor of a conductor of the electromagnetic coil. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic coil 9 includes a strip conductor 20s which is a strip-like conductor rolled a plurality of times so as to surround a predetermined space portion, and an insulating adhesive layer 50s bonding mutually opposing surfaces of the rolled strip conductor 20s. The adhesive layer 50s contains an insulating granular material assuring an interval of mutually opposing surfaces of the strip conductor 20s, and an insulating adhesive material. Since the adhesive layer can provide insulation by the insulating granular material assuring the interval of the mutually opposing surfaces of the strip conductor, and the insulating adhesive material, an insulating sheet used in a conventional structure is not required.
