PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an instrument panel allowing absorption of impact in both of a design cover specification and a box specification, commonalizing of a instrument panel main body of both the specifications and reduction of manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In the instrument panel, a garnish 3 including an air jetting device 10 is mounted in the instrument panel main body 2. An opening part 13 is formed on a front surface of the instrument panel main body 2 opposed to a front passenger seat. A recessed part 20 is formed in the instrument panel main body 2. A depth wall 20N of the recessed part 20 is fixed to a steering support member 17. One of a design cover 30 and a storage box 40 is optionally selected and is mounted in the recessed part 20. Abutting end parts 30T and 8T with each other of the design cover 30 and the garnish 3 or abutting end parts 40T and 8T with each other of the storage box 40 and the garnish 3 are locked.
