PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telemeter system capable of performing data transmission even if any failure occurs in a telemeter master unit. SOLUTION: A telemeter system 1 is configured to transmit data between a master 10 as a monitoring station and I/O units 20a-20d as monitored stations, including: a telemeter master unit 11a connected to the master 10; a telemeter master unit 11b connected to the master 10 and substituted for the telemeter master unit 11a in the case where any failure occurs in the telemeter master unit 11a; and a plurality of telemeter slave units 21a, 21b connected to the I/O units 20a-20d for transmitting the same data to each of the telemeter master units 11a, 11b.
