PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus wherein the work of adjustment, or the like, is carried out efficiently even at night or in a dark place, and unnecessary power consumption is reduced without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: The electronic apparatus is equipped with: a case 1 having an opening; a cover 2 opening and closing the opening; an electronic circuit; an illuminance sensor 3; an LED 4 for pilot lamp which is normally lighted during operation of the apparatus; an operation unit (a volume 6, a switch 7) which adjusts the electronic circuit, and an LED for illumination which illuminates the operation unit. The LED for illumination is unlighted in the state where the cover 2 is closed, the LED for illumination is unlighted when the brightness around the apparatus is higher than or equal to a predetermined level in a state where the cover 2 is opened, and the LED for illumination is lighted when the brightness around the apparatus is lower than a predetermined level in a state where the cover 2 is opened.
