PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality of an image recorded on electronic paper. SOLUTION: A device for recording an image on electronic paper includes: an electrically charged body which is electrically charged at a prescribed electrical potential; a counter member arranged opposite to the electrically charged body; a conveying member which conveys the electronic paper which has colored electrically charged particles and displays images by the movement, in a thickness direction, of the colored electrically charged particles; a voltage-applying part which generates an electric field alongside of the thickness direction between the charged body and the counter member, when the electronic paper is located between the charged body and the counter member, to move the colored charged particles in the thickness direction to make the electronic paper display the images; and a controller which makes the conveying member convey the electronic paper to sequentially send the mutually different parts of the electronic paper between the charged body and the counter member, and makes the voltage-applying part execute first processing for sequentially displaying the images on the parts sent between the charged body and the counter member, and makes the conveying member further convey the electronic paper to sequentially send the parts again, which go through once between the electrically charged body and the counter member, between the electrically charged body and the counter member, and then makes the voltage-applying part execute second processing for sequentially displaying the images again on the parts which are sent between the charged body and the counter member.
