PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress movement of an image of a wire in an animation displayed in real time during an operation carried out while inserting a cord-like insertion appliance (a wire). SOLUTION: When the animation inside a subject 1 is displayed, a wire specification part 41 specifies an image of the wire in each of a series of frames after a predetermined frame in real time. On each frame except the predetermined frame of the series of frames, an alignment processing part 43 aligns the frame with the frame in the past in real time so that the misalignment degree between the image of the wire in the frame and that in the frame in the past is minimized substantially. A display part 31 displays a wire tracking animation in real time based on the frames for which alignment is sequentially carried out by the alignment processing part 43.
