PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pneumatic tire, which can carry out optimum vulcanization molding in a short time, improve the durability of the tire and reduce the rolling resistance of the tire. SOLUTION: The method includes a process in which an unvulcanized tire 20 is inserted into a vulcanizing mold, and actual vulcanization is carried out while the unvulcanized tire 20 is pushed to the inner surface of the mold by expanding a bladder inserted into the unvulcanized tire 20. Prior to the real vulcanization of the unvulcanized tire 20, side reinforcement rubber 21 is vulcanized preliminarily so that the temperature of a lamination surface 21'a to be laminated on the unvulcanized tire 20 is lower by≥20°C and <40°C than the temperature of the other surface 21'b. After the side reinforcement rubber 21' vulcanized preliminarily is laminated on the inner surface 20a of the unvulcanized tire 20, vulcanization is carried out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
