PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To advance and retract an optical fiber of an optical-scanning endoscope, without enlarging a diameter of an insertion tube. SOLUTION: This optical-scanning endoscope includes a fiber drive unit 40 in a tip of the insertion tube, The fiber drive unit 40 includes a fiber driving part 41 and a hard tube 42. The hard tube 42 is fixed onto a distal end of the insertion tube. The fiber driving part 41 includes a hollow tube 41a and a piezoelectric element 41b. An end part sided to a near end direction of the hollow tube 41a is fixed onto the hard tube 42 by a collar 44. The piezoelectric element 41b is bonded to the hollow tube 41a to be expandable along a distal end direction. A female screw is formed on an inner face of the hollow tube 41a. A coil spring 45 is screwed to be screwed into the female screw. A light supply fiber 33 is inserted into the coil spring 45. A force allowing displacement along the distal end direction of the coil spring 45 is transmitted to the light supply fiber 33, using a stopper 47.
