The invention relates to the industry that manufactures receptacles intended for filing documents and/or files of any material, for example, filing boxes, file drawers, desks, rods or similar structures on which hanging folders are hung, etc. Said invention has the following advantages with regard to compartments of the prior art: said invention can simultaneously or indiscriminately hold letter- or legal-size files; little storage space is required for the stock of boxes for said applications, and the invention also reduces the filing area, since the boxes can be indiscriminately stacked regardless of whether they contain letter- or legal-size documents; and the invention substantially reduces financial costs and improves the cost-benefit ratio. Said receptacle is characterized in that it is rectangular in shape having: a) a selected width approximately between the length of a letter-size file and the length of a legal-size file, and b) the length approximately between two to three times or any multiple of the length of a letter-size file or a legal-size file. |
