The dishwasher i.e. household dishwasher (10), has a rinsing container (12), and a door closing an inner space of the rinsing container. A passive noise reduction device (36) e.g. passive noise suppression device (36a) and/or passive noise insulation device (36b), and an active noise reduction device (34) are provided in the dishwasher. The active noise reduction device reduces noises in a lower frequency range from 100 to 400 Hertz. The active noise reduction device comprises a piezoelectric and/or electro-dynamic component as an active component.
