PURPOSE: An X-ray tube is provided to reduce the consumption of lead for shielding X-rays by installing a cable receiving unit to be vertical to the longitudinal direction of a housing. CONSTITUTION: An X-ray tube comprises a cathode(110), a target(160), a housing(170), and a cable receiving unit(190). The cathode emits electrons. The target generates X-rays by bumping the emitted electrons. The housing supports the cathode and the target. The cable receiving unit is installed in the housing to be inclined to the longitudinal direction of the housing and supplies power to the cathode. |
