PURPOSE: A device for preventing a rotation of a scroll compressor is provided to reduce a vibration, a noise, and a mechanical loss of the scroll compressor because the friction loss of ball is divided as an orbiting ring, a fixing ring, and a middle ring. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing a rotation of a scroll compressor comprises an orbiting ring(62), a fixing ring(65), a middle ring(70), and a ball(80). The orbiting ring is fixed to the rolling scroll of the scroll compressor and has a first groove(63) which is located in the opposite side to the front housing of the scroll compressor. The fixing ring has a second groove which is fixed to the front housing and is opposite the orbiting ring. The middle ring is installed between the orbiting ring and fixed ring. The first groove of shape is the same as the third groove of shape which is opposite to the orbiting ring. The middle ring has a same shape of a fourth groove(78) as the second groove of shape which is opposite to the fixing ring. The ball is respectively settled between the first groove and third groove, and the second groove and fourth groove. The first and the third groove are formed so that the direction expanded with the second and fourth groove meet at right angel. |
