Provided is an inkjet printer capable of forming images that are sufficiently glossy. A head unit (3) and ultraviolet irradiation devices (4) are mounted in the provided inkjet printer. In the head unit (3), an inkjet head (6) that delivers an ultraviolet-curable ink to a medium is mounted in a cartridge (2) that can move reciprocally in a scanning direction (S). The ultraviolet irradiation devices (4) are disposed in front of and behind the head unit (3) in the scanning direction (S), and irradiate the medium with ultraviolet light. In the inkjet head (6), a color ink is delivered from a first delivery region (A1) and a clear ink is delivered from a second delivery region (A2). The overall ultraviolet illuminance in a first irradiation region (M1) corresponding to the first delivery region (A1) is set high. As for the ultraviolet illuminance distribution in a second irradiation region (M2) corresponding to the second delivery region (A2), the illuminance in front in a field direction (F) is set low, and in a third irradiation region (M3) in front of the region corresponding to the second delivery region (A2), the illuminance in front in the field direction (F) is set high.
