PURPOSE: A blower having a muffler for a main transformer of a railway vehicle is provided to reduce the noise by spraying downward the wind which is outputted from blower through splitters. CONSTITUTION: A blower having a muffler for a main transformer of a railway vehicle has a muffler(20) installed at the output stage. The splitter(21) is arranged inside muffler at the regular interval. The inside of the splitter is filled with the sound absorbing material. In order that the wind which is flown out of the output stage is exhausted to the surface, the splitter is bent from top to bottom and is arranged from top to bottom of the muffler at the regular interval.
