PURPOSE: A D-A converter of a data driver and a converting method of the same are reduce the area of the data driver by converting input data corresponding to a lower bit into an analog signal. CONSTITUTION: In a D-A converter of a data driver and a converting method of the same, a decoder(510) outputs a first level voltage and a second level voltage. A delta current generating part(520) receives a first level voltage and a second level voltage. The delta current generating part generates two currents. Two transmission lines(531,532) transmit two currents. A current digital analog converter(cDAC)(540) distributes one current in response to the least significant bit. An output buffer amplifier(550) receives one current and a current from the current digital analog converter. An output buffer amplifier generates an output voltage. A switch(560) controls the current of the transmission line. Two multipliers(571,572) control the transmission path of two currents.
