<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for ensuring the high reliability of wireless communication when using a single wireless communication system to achieve monitoring of operating conditions of an outboard engine, location information between watercrafts, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A second wireless device (wireless device 21B) mounted in a cabin (cabin unit 20B) of a watercraft hull performs communication based on a first communication protocol (e.g., short-range wireless communication) with a first communication unit of a first wireless device (wireless device 11B), and also performs communication based on a second communication protocol (e.g., middle- and long-range wireless communication) for a communication range longer than that of the first communication protocol with another watercraft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
