<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let a user effectively hear the ball hitting sound with a higher-directionality sound emitted when a golf ball is hit. <P>SOLUTION: A golf club head 100 has an internal space. In addition, the golf club head 100 has a crown part 120. The crown part 120 has an area 124 vibrated by a primary inherent vibration mode. The golf club head 100 also has a thick part 122 (first thick part). The thick part 122 is provided on a face on the internal space side of the crown part 120.
