<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of stably generating an ion over a long period of time, without enlarging a floor space required for installation. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 10 includes an image forming part 120, a paper supply part 130, a housing member 200, and an ion generating unit 300. The housing member 200 is disposed at least below the image forming part 120, and gives the same shape in plane view as the image forming part 120 and the paper supply part 130. The ion generating unit 300 is contained in the housing member 200. The ion generating unit 300 includes a duct 310 forming a pathway of flow to guide the air that is sucked in from outside of the housing member 200 again to outside of the housing member 200, an ion generating device 320 disposed inside the duct 310, and a fan 330 for generating an air current in the duct 310. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
