<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image conversion panel for improving optical output and resolution. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation image conversion panel 1 includes: an FOP 2 where a plurality of optical fibers are bundled; a heat-resistant resin layer 3 that is formed on a surface 2a of the FOP 2 and is transparent to scintillation light; and a scintillator 4 that is formed on a surface 3a at a side opposite to the FOP 2 in the heat-resistant resin layer 3 by vapor deposition and is made of a columnar crystal. In this manner, in the radiation image conversion panel 1, the scintillator 4 is formed on the heat-resistant resin layer 3 by vapor deposition, so that the scintillator 4 is ideally subjected to vapor deposition, thus improving crystallinity of a root section of the scintillator 4, and hence suppressing deterioration in passing properties of scintillation light and scattering of the scintillation light at the root section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
