<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystallized glass which has sufficient shielding performance against visible rays and high transmittance for infrared rays, and its transmission properties of visible rays and infrared rays are hardly degraded even in long-term use. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the crystallized glass is characterized by containing (1) a process for preparing a raw material powder so as to have a composition which contains, by mass%, 55-73% of SiO<SB>2</SB>, 17-25% of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 2- 5% of Li<SB>2</SB>O, 2.6-5% of TiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.01-1% of SnO<SB>2</SB>, and 0.005- 0.3% of V<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, and substantially does not contain As<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and Sb<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, (2) a process for producing a precursor glass by melting the raw material powder, and (3) a process for forming crystal nuclei by heat-treating the precursor glass in a temperature range of 765-785°C for at least 10 minutes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
