<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic power generator that reduces loss caused by a bypass diode and improves power generation efficiency of the whole system. <P>SOLUTION: The photovoltaic power generator is constituted by connecting in series a plurality of composite elements comprising one or more solar cell elements 1 connected in series and a semiconductor switch 7 connected to the one or more solar cell elements 1 in parallel.
