<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent thermoplastic resin composition with excellent transparency, toughness, and surface hardness. <P>SOLUTION: The transparent thermoplastic resin composition includes: a copolymer A comprising 64-84 mass% of a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and 16-36 mass% of a structural unit derived from a vinyl cyanide compound (provided the total content of the two structural units is 100 mass%); a copolymer B obtained by graft polymerization in the presence of a rubbery polymer and comprising 1-55 mass% of a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound of a matrix component, 0-36 mass% of a structural unit derived from a vinyl cyanide compound, and 45-90 mass% of a structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylate compound (provided the total content of the three structural units is 100 mass%); and a copolymer C comprising 70-100 mass% of a structural unit derived from a (meth)acrylate compound and 0-30 mass% of a structural unit derived from a monomer copolymerizable with the (meth)acrylate compound (provided the total content of the two structural units is 100 mass%). The ratio of A/B/C is 3-70/3-70/3-70 (mass ratio), the total measured light transmittance is 70% or more for an individual molded resin article with a thickness of 2.4 mm, and the haze is 20% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
