<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an equipment management cost by collecting and analyzing information to be monitored on communication equipment connected to a network at low cost to reduce burden on operators. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus includes a network interface 18, an operation processing unit 22 which acquires the information 20 to be monitored from the communication equipment 14 to be monitored, and performs predetermined processing, an internal memory 24 which stores control data including the acquired information 20 to be monitored, a display 26 which displays the result of operation processing, a memory interface 38 which is connected to an external memory 36 storing monitoring control information 34, and an input/output interface 40 which receives the input of information 42 to designate a monitoring operation. The external memory 36 stores the monitoring control information 34 which includes identification information 28 which identifies the communication equipment 14 to be monitored, a monitoring item 30, and analysis decision information 32 on the information 20 to be monitored, thereby an apparatus body with high versatility can be obtained so as to monitor any network communication equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
