<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glazing agent which comprises an aqueous solvent containing no petroleum type solvent. <P>SOLUTION: The glazing agent for a coated surface contains fine crystalline cellulose and/or fermented cellulose and exhibits non-fluidity.
