PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jib catch protective structure of a tower crane for safely and surely performing the connection and a release by using a member of a simple hook structure, in a jib catch of a tower boom and a tower jib of the tower crane. SOLUTION: The jib catch 4 for connecting the tower boom 2 and the tower jib 3 of the tower crane 1 is characterized in that a protective hook 5 having a hook-shaped part 51 opposed to a hook 41 for constituting the jib catch 4 is arranged in the vicinity of a shaft hole of the hook 41.
