PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide therapeutic agents for diabetes, hemorrhoids, trichophytosis unguium, colon polyps and the like. SOLUTION: A liquid composition is prepared by impregnating absorbent cotton having about 1 cm×1 cm size with wood vinegar (e.g. bamboo vinegar) containing≤1 ppt weight benzopyrene and is used by inserting the same into the anus. Thereby, the bactericidal action inherited to the bamboo vinegar is directly acted to the affected part, as well as imparts bactericidal function to blood flow through inner organs such as liver and expresses bactericidal effects from the internal organs and the insides of peripheral parts of the body to be able to improve symptoms such as trichophytosis unguium and colon polyps.
