The first and second intermediate shaft units 7, 8 have first and second intermediate shafts 22, 24, into which power is inputted via the input shaft 12, and clutches C1 to C4 and a plurality of gears provided on each of the intermediate shafts 22, 24. The idler unit 6 has a support member 14 mounted detachably to the case body 1 and an idler gear G3 supported rotatably on a support member 14 to engage with gears of the input shaft 12 and the first intermediate shaft 22.
