PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor that notifies a user about the content of FAX data even if a screen of a terminal device that receives the FAX data is small. SOLUTION: In a multifunction machine, when FAX data are received by facsimile communication (S1), the FAX data is mage-analyzed (S7). If an effective range is specified from the FAX data (S9:YES) and the effective range is equal to or larger than a threshold value (S11:YES), a margin of the FAX data is deleted and images are synthesized (S13, S15), and then a moving picture file that scroll-displays the content of FAX data is generated (S17).
