PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform display when a GPS signal is received again by smoothly dissolving errors caused when a current location based on the GPS signal is separated from a display position. SOLUTION: An apparatus for display of the current location includes: a display device; a GPS receiver; a current location calculator for calculating the current location on the basis of the GPS signal received by the GPS receiver; and a display position determiner for determining the position of a current location mark displayed on the display device, on the basis of the current location calculated by the current location calculator before the GPS signal may not be received, the current location display device includes a position comparator. Upon the determination of the position comparator that the position of the current location mark and the position allowing the GPS signal to be received again is within a prescribed distance when the GPS receiver cannot receive the GPS signal, the current location display device displays the current location mark at a position backward in the moving direction from the position of the current location mark determined on the basis of the current location calculated before the GPS signal cannot be received.
