Authentication-use information stored in a third storage unit (157) includes an authentication-use image and partitioning-use information. An authentication assessment unit (154) assesses that user authentication has succeeded upon determining that the result of the authentication-use image being partitioned according to information input into the touch sensor (107) matches the result of the authentication-use image being partitioned according to the partitioning-use information.
