<p>Quantitative information regarding a subject is obtained. Provided is a fluorescence endoscope device (100) which is provided with: a light source (10) which irradiates a site (X) to be observed with excitation light and reference light; an image generating unit (41) which obtains a fluorescence image by imaging the fluorescence generated as a result of the light source (10) irradiating the site (X) to be observed with excitation light, and which obtains a reference image by imaging the return light that returned from the site (X) to be observed by irradiating same with reference light; an image correction unit (43) which generates a corrected fluorescence image by correcting the fluorescence image using the reference image obtained by means of the image generating unit (41); a valid region setting unit (47) which sets a valid region in which the brightness value in the corrected fluorescence image generated by means of the image correction unit (43) is within a predetermined error range; a region extracting unit (45) which extracts a high brightness region in which the brightness in the corrected fluorescence image is at a predetermined threshold value or more; and a display unit (51) which displays the high brightness region extracted by means of the region extraction unit (45) in a manner such that it is possible to determine whether or not said high brightness region is located within the valid region.</p> |
